Background
Stunting is impaired linear growth of children: they experience stunting in the first 1000 days after conception and is an indication of chronic malnutrition. Children under the age of two are regarded as the most vulnerable to malnutrition due to their rapid growth and greater exposure to infectious disease.

Poor quality of healthcare is a global public health problem. Laboratory services are key factors in the delivery of quality care, as the diagnosis of the disease is the starting point for appropriate treatment and surveillance of diseases. This is shown in a new doctoral thesis at Umeå University, where the quality of laboratory services in Rwanda is analyzed.

Dalam rangka memperingati Hari Gizi Nasional, Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional (BKKBN) memerangi stunting dan obesitas. Oleh karena itu BKKBN melakukan kerjasama dengan PT Unilever Indonesia,yang mengusung tema “Aksi Bersama Cegah Stunting dan Obesitas,” Selasa (25/01).

Dinas kesehatan kabupaten Sumedang menargetkan pada akreditasi puskesmas tahun 2022 sebanyak 12 puskesmas akan masuk katagori paripurna. Menurut Kepala Bidang Pelayanan Kesehatan Dinkes Kusmiyati setelah dua tahun tak dilaksanakan akreditasi sehubungan dengan pandemi covid 19, rencananya tahun ini Kemenkes kembali akan melaksanakan akreditasi puskesmas.
